The Biggest Elvis Show on Earth took place in 2023 at the ICC Darling Harbour Theatre in Sydney and Port AdVenture Cruises was so proud to host this mega event to celebrate and pay tribute to the one and only Elvis!
How did that come about?
Marty Rhone and John St. Peeters approached David with a simple request: to provide their Elvis show in Melbourne. Without hesitation, David said YES! For him and Elsa, their role is straightforward: use their media connections to promote the show, fill the seats, and finance it. While it may sound easy, this is the crucial first step in making the show a reality.
You might be wondering if David is an Elvis fan himself! As a natural entertainer, David once performed an Elvis Tribute show on his cruise, even investing in a $1000 Elvis suit. Unfortunately, he lost the suit in an incident. Understanding David's disappointment, John jokingly suggested that David join the Elvis show to "help pay for your suit"!
Having known Marty and John for years, David had no doubt that their show would be exceptional as they consistently deliver top-quality performances that surpass expectations.
